When you come to Siquijor you can take Independent Diver course, sometimes called Solo diver. This is highly skilled Scuba diver who upgrade his/her diving skills and knowledge on a higher level. To Become an Independent diver you have to be proficient and hold certifications in deep diving, night / low visibility and navigation. Also, minimum 75 logged dives must be under your belt before attending the Independent Diver course.
In four dives during the course you get skills and experience in self rescue skills with a proper use of stage cylinder, DSMB deployment and dive planning including SAC management.
