Who We Are
As Siquijor’s only SSI Instructor Training Center (ITC) featuring a full-time, in-house Instructor Trainer, Dive Point Siquijor stands at the forefront of scuba education in the region. We are licensed to run monthly SSI Instructor Training Courses (ITCs), setting the standard for professional diving quality, instruction, and safety across the island.
Whether you are taking your very first breath underwater, expanding your skill set into technical diving, or pursuing a career as a professional scuba instructor, our experienced team provides industry-leading mentorship every step of the way.
Our History & Vision
Dive Point Siquijor has deep roots on the island, dating back to 2016 when it was first established as one of Siquijor’s pioneering dive centers. The center was founded by Božidar Bajželj, who began his diving career in 1980 as a Navy diver in the Adriatic Sea, bringing decades of discipline and expertise to the operation.
In 2023, Božidar partnered with Renato “JunJun” Camacona Jr. (ISO 24802 Level 1 Instructor), combining their extensive knowledge, local expertise, and passion for the ocean. Together, they revitalized the Dive Point name as managing partners. Today, Dive Point Siquijor carries forward a strong tradition built on four core pillars: uncompromised safety, genuine fun, environmental stewardship, and continuous innovation in scuba education.
